Yeah, I just registered a brand new user and had no issues, but I copied and pasted the activation link into the browser rather than clicking on it.
What email client are you coming from when you were clicking on the activation link? I suspect the issue is really my spam redirects so I have a rule that is probably not refined enough.
Thanks for helping me figure this out! I'll continue to work with on your other issue at Raven's site too. I am convinced you are having issues with Javascript and/or AJAX. |

Ok, this helped me find the lines within my access/error logs. I have commented out a few suspected lines within my .htaccess and hopefully you will experience no more issues on my site. |

No, script permissions should be no different than the others. Since you were able to get by the AJAX components on my site (running 2.4.0 too), I doubt that it is a browser/desktop issue on your end but a host server set up.
I would check your web host error and access logs to see if you can find any specifics around the errors being generated.
I am pretty confident that RN 2.4.0 works just fine as it is running on several sites that I own as well as I know quite a few others and so far, yours is the only one producing this type of an error. We just need to isolate it to what is different about your hosting environment/set-up. |

Best Regards
Peter
Edit:
I dont have error logs and acces log i cant get. I must ask the hoster to get all logfiles if i needed. |

Not sure what your host has said, but we can continue this discussion over at Raven's site since we're trying to help you there as well. |
