[RESOLVED] Changing the {AUTHOR} from aid to informant?

hi guys first of all i loved the the newsletter module nice work! i have a question though on how do i change the {AUTHOR} placeholder because i would prefer to show in my newsletter the name of informant that submitted the news rather than the admin that approved it. thanks in advance guys. Smile

Open up file NW_HNL_MakeNewsletter.php and find around line 112 the following statement:

$sql = "SELECT sid, aid, title, topic, counter FROM ".$prefix."_stories ORDER BY time DESC LIMIT 0, ". $_POST['news'] ."";

All you need to do is change the "aid" reference to "informant" so that it looks like this:

$sql = "SELECT sid, informant, title, topic, counter FROM ".$prefix."_stories ORDER BY time DESC LIMIT 0, ". $_POST['news'] ."";

Very good catch and thanks for asking the question. I now have another good fix to make to version 1.3 (currently under development - as soon as I can get my development environment back up and running...)

BTW, this has been fixed in 1.3.x.
