Hi Montego,
NeapolitanWorld here from Raven. Excuse my ignorance but what is a tap? is this the Tego Short links? The link above only takes you to the same post here.
Regards,

The history of hack goes way back to the original hack which was called "Google Tap", hence the name "Tap". It is basically "tapping" the link structure produced by *Nuke and then modify it to something else... a shortened link. Google Tap goes back at least 5 - 6 years I think and then it because GT-NExtGEn for "Google Tap Next Generation". When the hack author stopped supporting and improving upon it, I took it over and changed the name to "ShortLinks". TegoNuke(tm), by the way, is my nuke brand of "products".
Now back to the thread. The above link actually takes you to a thread that did have another link in it to get the NSN News "tap", which I see now is a defunct link... which is why I would rather folks post the actual "tap" contents here in my forums than to provide links. However, I do have another thread in this forum for that particular "tap", so not all lost.
Doesn't look like I ever got a good Coppermine "tap" from the community. |

Thanks Montego for the short history! I do have your ShortLinks on my site enabled and I could not be happier truly works excellent!
I would be very interested to get my Coppermine v1.3.1d with ShortLinks... I have over 10,000 member photos
I searched a few threads here but could not find anyone whom has the "taps" available for coppermine

I am working on something that will help us at least capture the links that are needing to be "tapped". Give me a couple of days as well as PM me your email address that I can send a modified shortlinks.php file to you when I am done. |

Thank you for the email of the links. I have just sent you a set of test taps. Once you are satisfied that all the bugs of the tap have been worked out, I'll post an official set of Coppermine ShortLinks. |

Unfortunately, nextgen, we never completed the work. Just turned out to be way too many links to tap and I just didn't have time to complete the job. There is also an issue with some Coppermine code which was not going to allow me to complete the job without re-writing that section. Again, no time. |
