Thats probably down to your servers php_mail() configuration.
I have never had this happen to me, it always sends from my admin address as this is the variable it uses. |

Are you using one of the provided templates or have you created your own? I just looked at this again. I did a test newsletter sent to an NSN Group, and used the name "montego" in the newsletter "sender" field. This is what I saw in my mail client:
From: "montego" <my admin web email address was here>
Are we misunderstanding where the "uknown sender" is coming from? |

I am using the default templates.
Here is the header:
from (unknown sender)
to admin@<MYDOMAIN>.com
date Dec 30, 2006 9:47 AM
subject Test Newsletter from <MYCOMPANY>
mailed-by mail.<MYDOMAIN>.com |

That is not what it should look like going to an actual send. That is the admin "test send" view of it I believe. Since you are using RavenNuke 2.02.02, try this:
1) Set up a NSN Group and put just yourself in it.
2) Create a test newsletter and send it to that NSN Group
This will mimic what the final newsletter will look like.
Let me know if it looks for you there. |
