(unknown sender) in from on emails

Where, if I can change this so I can have it say s specific name instead of (unknown sender) ?

Thats probably down to your servers php_mail() configuration.
I have never had this happen to me, it always sends from my admin address as this is the variable it uses.

Are you using one of the provided templates or have you created your own? I just looked at this again. I did a test newsletter sent to an NSN Group, and used the name "montego" in the newsletter "sender" field. This is what I saw in my mail client:

From: "montego" <my admin web email address was here>

Are we misunderstanding where the "uknown sender" is coming from?

I am using the default templates.

Here is the header:

That is not what it should look like going to an actual send. That is the admin "test send" view of it I believe. Since you are using RavenNuke 2.02.02, try this:

1) Set up a NSN Group and put just yourself in it.
2) Create a test newsletter and send it to that NSN Group

This will mimic what the final newsletter will look like.

Let me know if it looks for you there.
