Shortened Links on Blocks Only

NOTE from Admin: I split this topic out from another thread due to it more than likely being a different issue.

No problem.

Although I did notice something else. The links in the module main menu box work perfectly, however all the other links don't Sad

For instance when I select forum from the menu the link is search engine friendly, but when I select a topic the links aren't.

Is there any reason anybody could think of why this maybe happening?

If you do the exact same thing in my forums here, do you get the same result? If so, exactly what are you clicking and/or copy and paste the link here so I can take a look at it.

When I browse around this site all the links are good. On my site the links are only good from the main menu.

For example when I click on Survey from this sites menu the link is;

http://montegoscripts.com/surveys.html

From my site it is the same;

http://www.mysite.com/surveys.html

However the links on the actual survey page or any other page for that matter are not friendly links.

For example links on survey page from this site;

http://montegoscripts.com/survey-2.html

Links from survey page of my site;

http://www.mysite.com/modules.php?name=Surveys&pollID=3

The only search engine friendly links that appear on my page are that of the menu. All other links work as if the shortlinks module doesn't exist.

Isn't that weird? Could it be a problem with the .htacesss file?

If it is happening with every module, then it sounds to me like the header.php and footer.php edits you made were not done correctly. What about the other blocks? I suspect that they are working and only the modules themselves are not.

BTW, what version of PHP-Nuke are you using?

The header footer comment really helped me out.

I noticed that the line that should be added in the bottom of the footer was in the wrong place.

The instructions said ABOVE THIS LINE, and I ended up placing it under the line.

My mistake. I really appreciate the help. I am happy to see that everything is working properly. This is a great mod.
