I have a dilema. I usually use apache2triad on my machines but now the vista machine and apache2 are not playing well together at all. Does anyone else use vist and apache2 together. What other options are better that are available and open source ? |

Definitely!
Of course you might not want to remove Vista if you have a genuine copy so you can always duel boot, which Ubuntu will set up for you automatically if you install via their CD (or CD written from the image file you can download free from their website). |

Tip NextGen dont have it installed on C simple as that or you can change it so that you take ownership of it but it is better to not have it on the C disc in case the mighty Windows crashes |

My preference is to run VirtualBox on my Ubuntu and then run whatever OS' I need as virtual guest. |

LMAO, wow i am now using WAMP. It loaded easily, can run several versions of PHP and SQL depending on my needs. I tried ubuntu but the kids had a fit and demanded windows back. Was ready to be a overthrow of power in the house as it was just different. So now i have vista until i get another laptop then i can load Windows and ubuntu. |
