I have just updated to RN2.30.01 from RN2.20.01 in which I had aded the Approve Membership Lite module. Does the new Users Administration module in RavenNuke do the same thing and if so what is the best way of removing the AMLight version.
Thanks

I am going to assume that we're only talking my "Lite" version of Approve Membership Module and not the full version.
Since you have upgraded to 2.3.x of RavenNuke(tm), you have already overwritten the YA files (which is good) and so you can simply do the following:
1. Remove the following files/directories from your server:
images/admin/approvemember2.gif
modules/Approve_Membership
modules/Your_Account/approvelanguage
2. Remove the following tables:
nuke_pendingusers
nuke_stdemail
nuke_approvedemaildomains
nuke_approvedemailaddresses
nuke_approve_config
That should completely remove it.
Most of the functionality is there in the new RNYA, but, yes, there are a few features missing. For example, RNYA takes more of a "domain/username blacklist approach" rather than AMML used more of a "whitelist approach". Also, the custom email notify messages are not there or the "follow-up". However, pretty much everything else you're probably using is there.
I am going to make this a Sticky. |

Thanks Montego, I had already removed it using Beyond Compare, but was glad to see the confirmation. |
