Hi there,
I've recently dl'd your module so that I can easily approve memberships rather than have them done automatically in Ravennuke 2.2. (2.20.01)
I unzipped, copied files to root folder, ran the script (which confirmed the database entry). Approve membership appears in the module list as well as the admin panel.
When I sign up a dummy account, it sends the confirmation email with the activation link which allows the user to automatically register without any admin confirmation.
Did I miss a step? Do I have to modify anything else to get this module activated? Thanks in advance for the help!

It defaults to normal RavenNuke Your Account sign-up. So, yes, you must go to the Approve Membership module administration link and then click on the "Admin approval on" radio button. |

Hi Montego,
I have done that already but still get the same results. Like I say, it shows up in all the admins but it just seems to be bypassed. |

Well, not sure what to say as I am running this exact same version on a few other sites, all using RN 2.20.01, and they are working as they should.
Is your target server Linux? If so, try re-uploading your files using a good FTP client, such as FileZilla (free from sourceforge.net) in Binary mode rather than ASCII. |

Thanks Montego,
I'll try resending the files. Should I run the script again too? I'll post my results when I get home. Thanks for the quick help.

Actually, I would just check to see if the following tables were created:
nuke_approvedemailaddresses
nuke_approvedemaildomains
nuke_approve_config |

Yes the tables were created and I did reupload the files using binary mode. No change. I logged out as admin, created a new user and received the confirmation email with a link that activated my account. Damn this is strange. i don't need to activate the approve membership lite module? Or do I need to change something in nuke sentinal or users config? Is there anything I need to deactivate as it seems the standard registration is taking over from AML. Strange I know, but I have tried everything. Any other options? Thanks in advance again!

Two things:
1. Are you absolutely certain that you are using the latest Approve Membership Lite (not what is in the archives).
2. Are you absolutely certain that you are using RavenNuke 2.20.01 and not a prior version?
Yes, this is "Damn strange". |

TNMC_AML_010100 is the name of the file I got from the downloads section.
And I am absolutely certain that I have RavenNuke_v2.20.01
Installation went fine. Only other modules I have added are autotheme and coppermine photo gallery so far. Is there another membership approval that I could try to get the job done? I really appreciate the help Montego.

If you want me to take a look at it, PM me an FTP userid/passwd and nuke admin id.
This is just too odd. I have this running just fine out on http://azgbible.org. |

Ok, just got back on-line, so I haven't even picked up your PM's. I'll just delete them without even looking at them.
I wonder what happened. Sure explains it though. Glad you found it! |
