It is done, the first release from NukeWorks in a long time, and there will be more in the future. I have had a hard time recently and wasn't doing very well. Then I met this guy call montego who basically kicked my rear into gear. Montego and I have started to work together (well mostly montego ^^ )on this module and have some plans for future releases including NSN groups support. A Newsletter module for PHPNuke that send a newsletter email in HTML format. Customizable templates, and more.
Features:
- Create HTML Newsletters.
- Using a templating system you can create your own look for the newsletter.
- Preview newsletters before you send them.
- Test send newsletters to the website administrator.
- Archive System so users can look up old newsletters
- A block to display most recent and archived newsletters.
- Translatable using the language files.
Project version 1.1 encompasses the following enhancements and fixes (but not limited to):
- Removed unwanted slashes and better handling of quotes and single quotes
- Added ability to change the template name (directory) at installation time
- Added new newsletter content (table of contents) feature and sample template (based on fisubsilvrsh theme)
- Additional minor fixes

- Add support for NSN Groups (so can mail Newsletters to specific groups of users).
- Add support for taking an existing Newsletter and sending it out again possibly to a different group of users.
- Fix problem with Post date/time on Forums not being formatted correctly.

- Provide for capability to add a Newsletter or Site Copyright statement.
