Dear friends and Fellow members. I am not sure if you have read my post that i have placed on several sites about my various names and websites and how it had me looking like a bad seed in the PHP-Nuke Community. I have asked that folks give me a second chance and it seems that everyone has a forgiving heart so far. So with that i am at a new starting point at my website.

I am currently starting a Optimized Project and am looking for a few folks who would like to be a part of the project. I am looking for Beta Testers, Graphics Folks and Coders who would like to be a part of the project and to help me bring my name back into a good standing.

If you have any interest in joining the staff and participating in the project please contact me at http://www.ngnuke.com or by Email at vector2@verizon.net.

Thanks for your time and I hope to hear from you soon,

Dynamic Header Titles and Meta Data!

Posted on Sunday, August 16, 2009 @ 20:29:11 EDT in PHP-Nuke
by montego

Days are getting brighter for the RavenNuke(tm) and PHP-Nuke community in terms of better SEO tools.  Already, Kevin Guske of nukeSEO.com has innovated the *nuke world with his nukeSEO(tm) Sitemap and advanced meta tags editor tools, but he has taken this to the next level with his upcoming "nukeSEO (tm) DH" version where the "DH" refers to "Dynamic HEAD".

The standard nukeSEO(tm) tools - used here on this site - provided for one of the most critical elements of improving upon Search Engine page crawling and that is the Sitemap.  The nukeSEO(tm) Sitemap dynamically generates links, by module, and provides those links in one of two formats:  1) the on-line Sitemap, which you can see on my site, as well as 2) the XML version that you provide to Google.  In addition, this original version provided other tools for managing your robots.txt file, for analyzing your META tags (and editing them), Google Sitemap setup, Search Engine submittal and other miscellaneous tools for analyzing keywords and such.  Already a "winner" of a system for the *nuke community.

Kevin's latest work of art now adds the automatic generation of Page Titles, Meta Description and Meta Keywords using the content within many of the core modules.  Not only this, but the *nuke admin also has the ability to manually override any of these three HTML HEAD tag entries across any of the modules!  No longer does the *nuke community have to suffer with Yahoo! Search Engine Results (SERPs) where the single standard site-wide meta description is provided as the description for EVERY page.  nukeSEO(tm) will pull in the first few bytes of the page content into the description AND generate, automatically, based on certain algorithms the keywords that are most relevant from the content.  He didn't stop there as if the *nuke admin doesn't like the automatically generated content on any given page, simple navigate to the page, click the "SEO" menu option from the DH menu, and edit the overrides!

Amazing stuff, so good in fact, once this is released to both the RavenNuke(tm) and PHP-Nuke community, Montego Scripts will no longer be updating the old TegoNuke(tm) Dynamic Titles project as the on-going effort, in this site owner's mind, should be applied towards this far superior toolset and continue to make it better and better for the overall *nuke community!

Thank you Kevin and the nukeSEO(tm) / RavenNuke(tm) Team for your fantastic efforts on this!

kguske writes:

nukeSEO.com released nukeWYSIWYG™ 2.6.4 featuring FCKeditor. This update includes several important new and improved features:

  • File manager requires Nuke admin authentication (identified by S Electric)
  • FCKeditor 2.6.4 with new web-based spell checker
  • Browser-specific and compliance fixes

Please note that the file manager has always validated uploads to prevent files that can be used to cause harm to a site (e.g. executable files like .js and .php, as well as scripts renamed to be images).

Please also note that the admin authentication change is already implemented in RavenNuke™ 2.30.02 available from http://www.ravenphpscripts.com.  We are considering FCKeditor 2.6.4, CKeditor, and other WYSIWYG editors for future releases of RavenNuke.

There are 2 downloads:

  • Upgrade for those currently using nukeWYSIWYG™ 2.6.3 - available here.
  • Full version of nukeWYSIWYG™ 2.6.4 - available here.

Download requires 7-zip. Free membership is required to download.
