TegoNuke(tm) Approve Membership Lite 1.0.0

Since so many people have asked about a simple way to force approval of new user registrations, and, I had a personal need for such as well, I decided a few months back to take the latest RavenNuke(tm) 2.1.0 (also known as 2.10.00) Your Account module and the Approve Membership Module version 6.1.6 from Ulsoft and create a simplified "Lite" version that only has the user approval piece (i.e., no "Custom Fields"). I wish that I could have gotten this out sooner, but been busy. :-(

I have also added some extra text in my YA module stating that registrations from 'free' email accounts will be rejected and this also gets sent in the 'rejection' email.
As far as I'm concenred, people visiting my site probably have their own website so they can use their own domains address or they get rejected - getting tough on spammers! |

Only thing, though, that I am trying to do is stay away from hacking too much more core code and definitely no core nuke table changes. I also thought about pulling out the bulk of the AML code into an include file so that the amount of core nuke hack code is a bit less, more thinking about inserting key "hooks" in key spots within the YA index.php. Ok, I'm rambling... always full of ideas and no time to work them... |

I have often debated with CNBYA how useful the 'allow registrations from these domains' function really is but perhaps I'm alone in wishing it was the opposite way around.
I visited a site today with over 20,000 members, only 7 of whom where actually posting in the forums lol. |
