XHTML/W3C Compliance for Sommaire 2.1.1
Posted on Wednesday, October 25, 2006 @ 23:21:35 EDT in Announcements by montego
Well, since RavenNuke76 2.10.00 is close to release and it has made large leaps forward in terms of XHTML and W3C compliance, AND I run RavenNuke76 here on this site, I have decided that in order to take advantage of all that hard work from the Team, I am needing to make Sommaire 2.1.1 (used here for the Site Menu) compliant among other blocks/modules.
I will begin this work soon and will release this to the public since Sommaire is no longer supported by its author.

At least for the features that I use here on this site. So, I decided to run with it and fix any bugs as they are found. |

Well I use it on an old site but CA needs something more compliant ;) |

You can always go back to the old modules block. If you are interested, I can forward to you my testing excel spreadsheet which highlights the bugs that I found. I finally decided there was nothing there that would preclude me from using on this production site. |

Not sure I'll have a fix, because the code is quite complex, but I may have a work-around. |

Bummer. I'll start with 3.0b as the base then... Guardian, sounds like you may already have done a lot of work on this from an XHTML standpoint, do you mind sharing that with me? |
